How can I remove the date stamp from photos taken with a canon powershot sd1400?

My camera is a Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS Digital Elph.

I just went on a trip and took tons of photos only to find out that I had left the date stamp setting on. Now all of the pictures have an ugly date stamp in the bottom right corner.

You can turn off the date stamp, but once its in the jpeg, it's there.

Obviously, you could clone it out using PhotoShop or the Gimp, but that's not always a simple solution.
