How do I fix my Vizio 55" LCD?

My son threw an object at our 55" Vizio LCD screen (VF550XVT1A) and now when we turn it on , the picture is broken. Where the object touched it gives a shattered look. How do I fix this ? Is there a way to buy a broken one and replace the display

You can try to find a match for your TV on ebay or something, then swap out the screen. But that's going to be a huge job and don't recommend that unless you know what you're doing!

VIZIO VF550XVT1A 55-inch LCD HDTV

VIZIO's XVT series of HDTVs offer some pretty cool new features, and the 55-inch LCD HDTV model I reviewed (the VF550XVT1A) doesn't compromise on those features.
